Barb Pierce
Prior to becoming a yoga teacher, Barb enjoyed a career as an army engineering officer and a high tech project manager.
Barb has been practicing yoga since 1998 and has completed YTT200 and YTT500 hour yoga teacher training course with Yogi Vishvketu and Chetana Panwar in Rishikesh India. Barb has also completed a ‘Yin yoga’ and ‘Anatomy for yoga’ intensive course with Paul Grilley.
In addition to Barb’s love of practicing, teaching and sharing yoga, she is a professional coach and speaker.
Yoga has helped Barb find a calmness and inner peace that previously eluded her and she wants to share that feeling with anyone who wants to join her.
Barb has written a book and has developed an innovative course called Yoga for Healing and Stress Relief – 8 Weeks Towards Optimal Health. This course combines yoga, personal development, mindfulness and meditation to promote wellness and inner peace.
Barb believes that yoga is for every body. Whether you are bendy or stiff, strong or weak, under or overweight, yoga can change your life.
